Experienced, Integrated Approach
Founder & Principal Lola Pyne is a seasoned creative marketing strategist who brings a comprehensive approach to communications with her wealth of experience and education across multiple disciplines.
With a diverse background in leading marketing and advertising, interactive exhibit programs, and web design and development at the Library of Congress during her 18-year career there, she holds a passion for cultural outreach and technology platforms. In total, her government experience spans more than twenty years, and includes advanced web development for Montgomery County Maryland Government and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
As a serial entrepreneur and an award-winning retail business owner, Lola is dedicated to brand creation and growth. She is also the founder of Oasis Soul Scent Co., a self-care and wellness company known for its candles and scented bath & body products. Leveraging her entrepreneurial background, she supports other brands with her expertise.
Her educational achievements include a B.A. in Sociology from Spelman College, an IT certificate from Montgomery College, and an M.S. Ed. in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
Lola is member of The BOW Collective and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Metropolitan Washington, DC Chapter. She has received several entrepreneurship honors including a Blavity.org Growth Fellowship and NAWBO’s “Brave Is” Scholarship, and has been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine.
With a marketing and design approach rooted in research, analysis, and learning theories, Lola Pyne brings a unique perspective to her work, devising creative strategies and solutions for her clients.
