Meet Lola
Lola Pyne is a strategist, exhibit designer, marketing educator, and founder of PYNE Creative.
For 18 years, she led web development, then marketing and advertising at the Library of Congress, where she directed national campaigns and created immersive experiences like the Library’s Pavilion at the National Book Festival. With a master’s degree in Museum Education and a deep love of cultural spaces, Lola has always seen branding as an opportunity to curate an experience—not just deliver a message.
She founded PYNE Creative to bridge a gap she kept seeing in the world of entrepreneurship: a lack of access to high-quality brand strategy and experiential design that goes deeper than just “looking good.” She believes every business deserves the clarity and tools to show up fully and make a real impact.
As a serial entrepreneur and award-winning retail business owner, Lola has lived this work firsthand. She is also the founder of Oasis Soul Scent Co., a self-care and wellness company known for its richly scented candles and soulful body products. From selling at pop-ups to scaling with intention, she knows what it takes to build a brand from the ground up.
Lola holds a B.A. in Sociology from Spelman College, an IT certificate from Montgomery College, and an M.S.Ed. in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. She is a member of The BOW Collective, a Blavity.org Growth Fellow, and the recipient of several business grants and awards. Her work has been featured in Black Enterprise magazine.
She brings all of that experience—strategic and creative, institutional and entrepreneurial—into her work with business owners and organizations to build bold, aligned brands that shine with clarity, confidence, and strategy.
