About
At PYNE Creative, we believe branding is about showing up beautifully—and creating experiences people remember.
Brand Boldly. Market Strategically. Connect Purposefully.
Founded by strategist and creative entrepreneur Lola Pyne, PYNE Creative blends brand strategy, experience design, and real-world business insight to help brands show up with clarity and intention. Our work starts with strategy, then comes to life through creative direction, experience-led thinking, and activation planning aligned with your goals. We don’t chase trends or one-off ideas. We focus on building a cohesive, experience-driven presence that truly reflects who you are.
Meet Lola
PYNE Creative was founded by Lola Pyne, a marketing strategist, experience designer, educator, and serial entrepreneur.
For 18 years, she led web development, then marketing and advertising initiatives at the Library of Congress, where she directed national campaigns and designed immersive public-facing experiences, including the Library’s Pavilion at the National Book Festival. With a master’s degree in Museum Education, she approaches branding as a form of curation—designing environments, narratives, and moments that invite people in.
In 2025, Lola was named one of the African American Marketing Association’s “50 Black Marketers to Watch,” recognizing her leadership at the intersection of strategy, culture, and experiential marketing. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), teaching in the Master of Professional Studies in the Business for Creatives program, where she helps emerging leaders connect creative vision with business strategy.
As a founder herself, Lola understands the realities behind the work. She is the creator of Oasis Soul Scent Co., an award-winning self-care and wellness brand built from the ground up—from pop-ups and community events to intentional growth and brand expansion. That firsthand experience informs every client relationship.
PYNE Creative was born from a gap Lola saw again and again: businesses investing in design or marketing without the strategic foundation—or experiential thinking—needed to truly connect and convert. Her work bridges institutional expertise and entrepreneurial insight, helping brands move beyond “looking good” to showing up with purpose.
Lola holds a B.A. in Sociology from Spelman College, an IT certificate from Montgomery College, and an M.S.Ed. in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. She is a member of The BOW Collective, a Blavity.org Growth Fellow, and the recipient of several business grants and awards. Her work has been featured in Black Enterprise magazine.
